2. 1/4 Gallon bottle of Polymer A
3. 1/4 Gallon bottle of Polymer B
4. Topping aggregate - 5 pounds
5. 1 Oz. vial of catalyst.

Safety
FloMix is not a significant irritant. Nevertheless, skin or eye contact may lead to sensitization. Protective gloves and safety glasses should be worn. Wash hands before eating, drinking or smoking after handling.

Surface Preparation
Remove loose and unsound material. Clean out with a brush or blow out with compressed air any cracks or potholes. Apply only to dry surfaces. Moist or damp surfaces will weaken FloMix's ability to bond to the surface.
Caution: keep pails sealed until ready to use to avoid moisture contamination.

Mixing
Remove 10-pound bag of topping sand and both A & B bottles of polymer from the 5-gallon FloMix pail. Add A bottle of polymer to the 5-gallon container of treated sand and mix with pail mixer for 1-2 minutes until sand is completely wet. Next, add all of B polymer and mix thoroughly for one minute. FloMix is now ready to be applied to the pre-treated area and should be in the form of a very pourable slurry. Working time will be approximately 10 minutes at an ambient temperature of 75 degrees F.

Installation
Squeegee, screed, gauge-rake or trowel thin slurry over repair area. The outer areas of the repair can be feathered into the existing surface with a hand trowel. Once liquid material is applied to the repair area, proceed to broadcast the repair using all 10 pounds of the topping sand evenly over the repair area.

Cure
Cure for one-hour minimum at a temperature of 75 degrees F. allowing approximately 30 minutes for every 5 degrees below 75 degrees. For temperatures below 60 degrees add 1/2 the vial of the supplied catalyst (1 oz.). For temperatures below 50 degrees add the full 2 oz. bottle of catalyst. Colder temperatures will dictate a slower cure rate.

Packaging and Coverage
5- Gallon FloMix kit (55 pounds) will cover 50 square feet.
3- Gallon FloMix kit (27 pounds) will cover 50 square feet.

Shelf Life
FloMix shelf life is one year when stored indoor, unopened under cool and dry conditions.

Simple and Effective Emergency Repairs
For more than four years, CalTrans maintenance crews have been using FlexSet and FloMix to repair the asphalt and concrete on bridges, state roads and interstate highways.

This product allows fast completion, with small crews and limited equipment. With no pavement removal, there is also nothing to haul away and dispose. The standard emergency concrete repair usually uses asphalt cold mix. This temporary repair requires no site preparation. Cold mix is shoveled over the damage and traffic compacts the cold mix, creating a rough ride. These repairs must be repeated regularly until more permanent repairs can be scheduled. Until now, permanent repairs were complicated. The removal and disposal of damaged concrete requires heavy equipment, tools, heavy manpower and extensive lane closures. The process requires much planning and preparation.

Now there's FlexSet, which requires almost no site preparation and no heavy equipment. FlexSet, based on technology developed for U. S. Air Force rapid runway repair, is applied quickly over damaged concrete with no saw-cutting, demolition or removal. FlexSet repairs can be done during slow hours, and with repairs supporting heavy-load traffic within an hour of placement, impact on traffic is minimal. Repairs are smooth and support heavy loads. Substantial savings on repairs are reported.
